Description

An avatar of Vishnu

Krishna is highly revered in India. This deity was born from a black hair of Vishnu and is is one of the eight avatars. During his incarnation, Krishna is first a mischievous child, then an irresistibly seductive adolescent, and finally a powerful warrior who standing against other gods and demons.

His exploits begin as a child. He is usually portrayed as a handsome young man with blue skin, covered in jewels and holding a flute. Among the gopis, the young women seduced by Krishna when he was a cowherd, Radha,  became his favourite companion. Krishna appears in the Mahabharata. He is the God of devotion.

Mythical scenes

For the Myths and Legends collection, the Krishna represents this great figure of Hindu mythology. The God is represented on solid 800 silver, 18K gold, or 950 platinum. Sapphires recall the radiance of his blue skin. On the pen’s body, Krishna is seen as a teenager playing the flute to seduce the gopis. On the cap, he is depicted in the Bhagavad-Gita as he leads the tank of Prince Arjuna into battle.
